The wedding dress. Â It is the one wedding detail that we girls spend the most time thinking about…for some as early as childhood. Â When you find that perfect dress to marry your man in it is an amazing feeling. Â The day of the wedding there is much attention and care put into making sure it doesn’t hit the floor before photos and absolutely does not get dirty once it is on (well at least before your first glass of champagne). Â As a photographer and former bride I know these things, and therefore orchestrate my photos around this white shrine. Â When Gina reached out to me that she wanted to reverse the clock and get her dress dirty, wet, and heaven forbid MUDDY I was thrilled!! Â I must have asked her a couple times if ANYTHING was fair game. Â Indeed it was. Â I had so much fun with Gina and Rick, who have known each other since Junior High and married for 5 years now, are clearly the most fun loving and easy going couple ever! Â The setting couldn’t have been more beautiful for a Trash the Dress Sesh. Â We had ducks, train tracks, and of course a nice murky river to play in! Â The best part about it all was that I got to get trashed as well! Â I had ducks pecking at my toes and river water up to my waist. Â It brought me back to my childhood when I used to jump off the rope swing into the creek that ran through my best friends back yard. Â Thanks for letting me break the rules Gina and Rick! Â I had so much fun!
