The alarm went off at 5am on New Years Eve. That must be a mistake, thought Jamie. The 5am wake up call was no mistake however and was the start to so much more to come that day. They had planned an early hike near Chrissy Field with their English Bulldog, Beverly, but when they talked about early, Jamie had no idea that Patrick was thinking sunrise-early. He was so excited to propose that he couldn’t wait any longer and insisted on a sunrise hike. When they arrived, Jamie couldn’t help but notice that Patrick was wearing not one, but 2 large winter jackets. It seemed odd, but nothing about the day had been the norm so she just went with it. When they reached their destination, Patrick got down and one knee, reached into his inner jacket’s pocket where the ring box was safely disguised by the bulk of the outer jacket (brilliant if you ask me!), and with the Golden Gate Bridge in the background asked her to be his wife. She said, “YES!” and the rest is history!
We had so much fun hitting up some of San Francisco’s most breathtaking spots from California’s scenic cable car line to the Marin Headlands. Jamie looked amazing in her canary yellow dress! I love how if popped amongst the urban setting! And of course let’s not forget the other lady of the day, Beverly, who looked adorable in her pink and white seersucker harness. Jamie and Patrick are a joy to be around and I am so excited for their big day this summer!
